About me

I’ve spent my career in complex organisations, leading through pressure, ambiguity, change and difficult decisions.

I spent 17 years at the Financial Times, working across finance, product and technology, strategy and transformation. That breadth means I understand both the commercial realities leaders are dealing with and the human dynamics underneath them.

Alongside my corporate career, I’ve spent more than a decade coaching leaders and teams. Much of my work now explores what happens to capable people under pressure, how ambition, success and identity shape the way we lead and perform, and what helps us sustain performance over time.

Those questions are personal too. My own definition of success has changed over time, shaped by moving across disciplines, taking on very different roles and choosing to build something of my own.

Endurance sport has shaped my perspective as well. I’ve run marathons and completed Ironman triathlons, giving me a different perspective on confidence, discomfort, resilience and what happens when things don’t go to plan.
